Interior Project Completed – Mrs.Swetha Project

With so much of mess and chaos around, no individual can be blamed for wanting a home that is modern and mess-free. Today, everyone desires a home that is clean and compact with all the necessary features and storage facilities. When Mr. and Mrs. Chandra approached us for designing their flat, we knew we would have to strike a balance between the two.

The Cosy Living Area
Black matte doors lead you into the majestic foyer. Luxurious white walls keep the scene light and bring attention to the elegant walnut shade leather couches. The symmetric wooden shelves are placed perfectly to complement the hanging television cabinet and its stark white drawers. Breaking the monotony and dominance of white, we have painted the wall opposite to the television set in orange and arranged an unconventional set of blue lights on the false ceiling. Exquisite showpieces and living room necessities adorn the wooden shelves, making the living room a cozy place to hang out.

The Stand-Out Dining Room
To keep dining and living side-by-side, we have included a wooden partition between the rooms. Strategically placed intricate masterpieces increase the beauty of the white shelves intertwined with the partition. The brown buffed dining table with the rich chairs and a cushioned bench make the dining area stand out from others of its kind. The crockery units designed in walnut and white make sure to give the optimum storage, while the handle-less panels scream modernity when combined with the sumptuous black marble counter. The blue-lit false ceiling makes the dining area a homely yet magnificent sight.

L is the new norm
We have incorporated the new and trendy L-shaped kitchen with shiny black marble top and walnut shutters and drawers. The hydraulic mechanism of these storage units reflects an opulent vibe. To balance the dark ambiance, we have kept the lofts off-white and provided separate space units cut out for kitchen appliances. The L-shape of the kitchen breaks the barriers between the kitchen and dining room, making food serving easier and intimate. The kitchen design ensures minimum clutter and the whole area becomes spacious as a whole.

Welcoming Bedrooms

The bedrooms have been given a calming coat of white paint and beige flooring to keep the feel classy. Tube lights add some nostalgia to the otherwise contemporary styled bedrooms.
The master bedroom houses a matching set of dark walnut bulky bed and a stylish sliding wardrobe. Orange drapes bring in cheerfulness to the glossy but brown sight. An eccentric wall mirror with a hanging table completes the look of the master bedroom, keeping it refreshing and lively.
Unlike the master bedroom, the kid’s bedroom has been provided with a study table to keep it functional and add a tinge of colour from the books and the vintage English clock. An embedded mirror and contrasting light beige drawers highlight the walnut wardrobe in this room.

Our journey with Mr. and Mrs. Chandra was nothing less than a joyride. We tried to use new concepts along with retaining the components of the bygone era of housing, making the house stand as a bridge between the past and the present.
